
iDengue is officially launched byYB Datuk Seri Dr. S. Subramaniam, Health Minister in accordance to 2013 Asean Dengue Day on 15 Jun 2013 in Sungai Petani, Kedah. Daily Dengue info and epidemic reporting through iDengue is more efficient when compared to weekly reports through printed media (newspaper or megazine) & mass media (tv and radio). The portal is expected to increase the awareness among public and communities to take measures to prevent dengue, to clean up their areas and to destroy aedes breeding area.
